At Homecoming, the alumni join the band for the last song of Halftime. As this year's last song was Emerald Eyes, the alumni used the opportunity to follow tradition and dance around the trumpet soloist. At Homecoming, however, all the trumpet soloists play the solo, and therefore it took ALL the alumni flutes (plus Rose, who as an alumni chair couldn't march that game - Stacy was parking at this time) to dance around the soloists. This was followed by an FTA (or an FTPaul) until ranks started moving and the flutes scattered to their proper ranks.
